VELVET REVOLVER: '(Inside)Out: The Rise' Preview Clips Posted Online

November 8, 2004

Two short video clips from VELVET REVOLVER's upcoming VH1 special, "(Inside)Out: The Rise of Velvet Revolver" have been posted online at the VH1.com web site. In the first clip, you will see the band come down from the thrill of their first-ever public appearance, in the second you see guitarist Slash in a limo, talking about the need of finding a singer. Almost two years in the making, "(Inside)Out" follows the ups and downs of VELVET REVOLVER, from the rehearsal studio to band meetings to the "Slither" video shoot.

It is still unclear when the documentary will air on VH1. It has been postponed for over a year and the latest rumors say it will be aired in December, though VH1 recently scrapped the previously announced December 1 airing date.

In related news, California-based quartet THE EXIES have been confirmed as the opening act for VELVET REVOLVER on five of the upcoming tour dates: Boston (11/9),Philadelphia (11/10),Manchester (11/12),Chicago (11/14) and Toronto (11/22).
